Bontrager 'Inform' Saddles in stock
At last, we have the new Bontrager Inform saddles
What's more boring than a bike saddle? Not much, you might think. Except when you think that you might be sitting on it for some time, so it had better be comfortable and not cause any injury or .. disfunction .. after a long ride. How do you pick a saddle? Sitting on them, a lot, trying them, but it's essentially a guessing game. One person's comfortable saddle is another's razor blade.
Until now.
We have the new Bontrager range of saddles in stock, along with our
special Inform stool used to measure your sit bones so we can have a
better guess at the right saddle for you. The new saddles were
developed with the University of Wisconsin and they come in various
widths. Why does this matter and what makes them different? Not only
are the saddles different widths, they're also different curves to
match the widths. This gives them a much better chance to fit you and
to not cause undue pressure or other issues. They don't have cutouts,
which at first glance seems odd (all the good saddles do, right?) - The
University study found that cutouts can actually increase pressure in
many (not all) cases, and so these new saddles don't have a
cutout.
So come in and try them out. If you're not happy, they have a
100% comfort guarantee - If you don't like it, you get your money
back. That's a great way to try a saddle at no risk to your hip
pocket.
